The Federal Internet tax moratorium bars the imposition of new taxes on the Internet itself and things like Internet access services. It doesn't change the applicability of state and local taxes to sales transactions. Accordingly, Wildduck.com collects such taxes on the sale of merchandise online, based on rates and rules applicable to the shipping address. These tax rates and rules can change at any time. Taxes are calculated based on the price of the item(s) purchased. In some states the taxable price includes discounts per item and an allocation of item-level discounts. Some states tax the shipping and handling charges also. Wildduck.com collects tax in all applicable states. Retailer Purchases are taxed in all applicable States unless a resate tax certificate is on file with us, The resale certificate must be in the name of the purchaser and shipment must be made to the state for which the certificate is issued. Retailer who drop ship to locations out of their respective state must have a certificate on file for all state into which they drop ship or sates tax will be charged PLEASE NOTE: Order totals calculated during checkout show estimated tax. Actual final tax amounts appear on the order invoice, based on tax rates and rules applicable when the order is shipped. On the rare occasion when a system or communication error occurs while an order is being entered on-line, the estimated tax amount on screen will be shown as "TBD" (To Be Determined). Tax-exempt organizations should provide Wildduck.com with a copy of their exemption certificate, resale certificate, or proof of exempt status for the state where purchased item(s) will be shipped. Non-profits should provide proof of their 501(c)(3) status or other acceptable exemption certification. Federal agencies should provide a federal tax ID certificate.
