Product care instructions are printed on a white tag inside our products. Following these instructions will ensure the long life span of Wild Duck Product. Canvas Handbags and Totes.:
Dry Cleaning is recommended, spot cleaning with a soft dry brush is also acceptable. Although the fabrics and threads used in our products are color fast we do not recommend laundering due to the possible uneven shrinkage and wrinkling of the natural cotton fibers. Spot cleaning by hand with cold or warm water and mild powder laundry soap and line drying has been successful in removing isolated stains and dirt. Commercial over the counter spot removing solutions approved for use on natural cotton fibers have also been used with success.
Some styles contain leather accents and additional care should be taken so as not to damage the leather during any cleaning.
Waxwear Totes and Bags
Unlike most canvas products dry-cleaning of products containing waxwear waxed cotton fabric should not be dry cleaned.
Wild Duck Embroidered Apparel
Care instructions for the apparel product should be followed. The embroidered emblem or logo requires no special care beyond the care normally extended for the base product; beach or detergents containing bleach should never be used, nor should machine drying as shrinkage may be different between the base fabric and the embroidered area.
